Community Reinvestment

Mr. Archibald has a strong passion for the law and recognizes the necessity, and his responsibility, to provide opportunities to those aspiring to enter the legal profession, but may be lacking the resources required to take on such an endeavor.

For example, Mr. Archibald gives back to his local community by offering a One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00) scholarship to a senior graduating from his high school alma mater, the Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, New York, who shares a passion for the law, and is considering pursuing a career in the legal profession.

The 2012 recipient of the Roger V. Archibald Scholarship was Ms. Diamond Powell (pictured at left).

This fall, Ms. Powell will be attending Herkimer Community College where she will be majoring in Criminal Justice.

“I am grateful to Mr. Archibald for his assistance and I will strive to make the most of this opportunity.” – Diamond Powell

The Archibald-Harper Collection

Abroad, Mr. Archibald recently made a donation to his alma mater, the Norman Manley Law School, located in Kingston, Jamaica, for the purpose of creating a digital law library, which allows for seamless access to legal resources and learning materials for matriculated law students.

Mr. Archibald has been a mentor to several generations of Brooklyn Law School graduates who sought guidance on establishing their own firms as well as practice pointers. He also offers annual paid legal internships to 2nd and 3rd year law students. Our firm has had interns from Law Schools in Germany, Jamaica (West Indies), Brooklyn Law School, St. Johns Law School, New York Law School, CUNY Law School, and Howard University Law School.
