New York Law Journal, December 15, 2010, “People v. Smith”, wherein all weapons possession charges were dismissed against the defendant as a result of Mr. Archibald successfully arguing and proving illegal police procedure.
In a recent Queens County case, which was covered on all major TV networks in New York City, including NY1, a 15 year old young man was charged with 3 counts of rape. Initially the case was venued in Criminal Court. If convicted in Criminal Court, the teen could have been sentenced to at least seven years in prison.
