New York Law Journal, December 15, 2010, “People v. Smith”, wherein all weapons possession charges were dismissed against the defendant as a result of Mr. Archibald successfully arguing and proving illegal police procedure.

In a recent Queens County case, which was covered on all major TV networks in New York City, including NY1, a 15 year old young man was charged with 3 counts of rape. Initially the case was venued in Criminal Court. If convicted in Criminal Court, the teen could have been sentenced to at least seven years in prison. However, Mr. Archibald successfully argued to have the matter moved to Family Court where he believed the young man could receive the rehabilitation he needed.
